Vinyl flooring can be purchased in sheet and tile forms. In sheet (ie..roll) form it may be obtained in widths from 6' wdie to 12'wide and offers a seamless or near seamless waterproof floor covering.
While linoleum, like vinyl, is a resilient floor covering, it is technically not a vinyl material. Linoleum consist of natural materials rather than synthetic "vinyl" materials. The name linoleum was taken from the latin words for its two main constituents; "linum" (flax) and "oleum"(oil- linseed oil in particular).
